We are therefore honored to have chartered, and to continue our collaboration with, the independent Health and Science Advisory Board (HSAB) that oversees this resource and provides other essential services to the iFriends community. The HSAB consists of the leading therapists, sex educators, academics, theologians and medical professionals operating in the United States today. As with so much of iFriends, the Love & Health Information channel presents content and information provided not by iFriends staff, but by independent individuals and professionals. These professionals are committed to helping others: Through both the iFriends communications platform and the Love & Health Information channel, our experts express their views and opinions, provide information, answer user questions, and interactively share their expertise with vast online audiences that heretofore were underserved and underinformed.

In addition to this resource, members of the Health and Science Advisory Board also provide advice, consultation, content review, and other professional services to iFriends management and staff. All services provided to iFriends by the independent HSAB are designed to fulfill the core HSAB mission: To provide all iFriends stakeholders with tools and information to ensure a positive iFriends experience that is also educational, enlightening, constructive, safe, healthy and responsible. (We define stakeholders as all iFriends users, including speakers, listeners, independent webcam-content producers, consumers, staff, management, and any individual who accesses or is otherwise exposed to the iFriends service.)
